The Council of Ministers meeting held earlier in the day approved the President's travel plans. As per the announced itinerary, President Paudel will first travel to Geneva, Switzerland on June 13th to lead the Nepali delegation at the 112th Session of the International Labor Conference.

After concluding his engagements in Switzerland, the President is scheduled to make an official visit to Germany, although specific details about the German leg of the tour have not been disclosed yet.

This will be President Paudel's first overseas engagement since assuming office in March this year. His participation in the annual International Labor Conference in Geneva is considered significant as Nepal is a founding member of the International Labor Organization (ILO).
