Nemwang, the son of former parliamentarian Subash Chandra Nemwang, acknowledged the legacy he inherited. He vowed to follow his father's path and ensure every vote cast for him was valued.
Nemwang expressed that this is a time of immense happiness and accountability. He emphasized that he will not offer insincere assurances but will diligently strive to uphold each vote that was earned through effort and determination.
Nembang secured a decisive victory, defeating his Nepali Congress opponent, Dambar Bahadur Khadka, by over 5,830 votes. The CPN (UML) party fielded Nemwang after his father's passing left the constituency vacant.
